About the Play
Recently, I had the soul-crushing experience of watching my father die . . . watching a doctor tell him his time on this Earth was coming to an end. I wanted to use science fiction as a way to explore the feelings I had around this event. So, I started asking myself: What happens in the near future when A.I. becomes so human-like that androids and robots will go through experiences that are uniquely human?
This is what my play, “a.d.a.m.”, is about.
